Meet Lileath Claire – Training for Over 20 Years
Lileath’s martial arts journey began back in the 1990s, during one of the most stressful periods of her professional career. A good friend recommended training at the Port Credit Academy of Martial Arts, and from the moment she walked through the doors, she knew she’d found something special.
A Place for Inner and Outer Development
What drew Lileath to this dojo was more than just the training – it was the philosophy. This place wasn’t just about learning techniques; it was about developing the student as a whole – mind, body, and spirit. The focus was on the students themselves, helping them grow stronger inside and out.
The Power of Community and Continuity
After taking a four-year break from training, Lileath returned to the dojo and was greeted by the same welcoming, vibrant community. She’s seen students grow from childhood to adulthood, gaining confidence and resilience along the way. The dojo has become a place where people of all ages train together – from young kids to mature adults – forming lifelong friendships and supporting one another.
A Lifetime of Fitness and Awareness
Now in her seventh decade, Lileath remains passionate about training. She knows firsthand that martial arts isn’t just about staying physically fit – it’s about staying mentally sharp and resilient as you age. Her advice? Start now. Whether you’re looking for physical fitness, mental clarity, or just a place to feel supported, training at the dojo is a choice you’ll never regret.
